1. About Us
Codiko (“the App”) is operated by Apoko Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 13267255).

2. Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using Codiko, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
3. License
Codiko is licensed, not sold. A valid license key grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App on up to 2 machines owned by you.
Each license includes 12 months of updates from the date of purchase. After this period, the App continues to function but will not receive new updates without a renewal purchase.
4. Trial
A 14-day free trial is available with access to most features. No credit card is required. After the trial expires, the App enters a 7-day read-only grace period, after which a valid license key is required to continue using the App.
5. Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase, no questions asked. If you are not satisfied, contact us at hello@codiko.app or request a refund through Lemon Squeezy. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.
6. AI Features & API Keys
AI features in Codiko require a third-party API key (OpenAI, Anthropic) or a local model setup (Ollama). You are responsible for any costs charged by your chosen AI provider. We do not charge for AI usage and do not add any markup to provider costs.
7. Your Data
All data you create in Codiko (manuscripts, characters, timelines, etc.) is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your data. AI queries are sent directly to your chosen provider, not through our servers.
8. Prohibited Use
You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Share, resell, or redistribute your license key
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent the licensing or trial system
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Codiko is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any data loss, damages, or issues arising from use of the App. We recommend maintaining regular backups of your work.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by English law.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
